North Sydney Business Chamber Small Business Workshop

I had the chance last Thursday to participate in the Small Business Workshop organised by the North Sydney Business Chamber. The event accepted any small business who was willing to set up a display table, and was an excellent opportunity to meet peers and share our experiences running a small business.

Representatives from the North Sydney Council, Service NSW, and TAFT NSW all came to show their support. As a Board Member of the North Sydney Business Chamber, I had the pleasure of meeting Zoe Baker, the mayor of the North Sydney Council. She shared a wonderful speech with us, and provided some keen insight and advice. As one of the business owners in the area, I felt tremendous support from all of these bodies, especially the Council. They made it clear how they recognised the effort and hard work the small business owners put in, and provided support by introducing many resources for us to use to grow our businesses.

All in all, it was a very constructive event, and I’m glad to have attended.
